In Clinic
This is our Statement Of Intent regarding COVID-19 (updated June 2023)
Staff Health - At this moment, the osteopath attending you is not exhibiting any symptoms of COVID-19 or other infection. They are checking their health status on a daily basis to catch any symptoms early. They currently aren't wearing masks but, on discussion with individuals both protective masks and aprons are available for use if required.
Hygiene - ALL OSTEOPATHS are washing their hands between every patient. Hand sanitiser or hand washing is available for everyone's use. Patients are not required to wear a mask, but those who wish to use one, please bring a face covering of their choice.
Patients are seen at least 5-10 minutes apart to reduce excessive interaction between clients, and to allow airing and cleaning of the clinic room.
We have both Carbon and HEPA air purifiers fitted in both clinic rooms to ensure clean air is circulated.
Cleanliness of the facilities are important to us, and we are regularly cleaning all sensitive areas. All commonly handled items (door handles, floors, card machine, keyboards etc) are disinfected regularly.
To help reduce paper waste to a minimum, and optimise contact time, we are using paperless forms with digital signatures. Please read and complete them.
We rely on your honest reporting of your health status, and that of ALL of the people you live with or are close contact with, i.e. your work or social group. If you live with others we will ask you to declare their health status if they currently have a an infectious condition. If YOU FEEL UNWELL, we ask that you PLEASE NO NOT attend, and we will reschedule your appointment as soon as possible.
For those booking online; if YOU (or someone in your family/social group) have travelled within 2 -3 days of your appointment, please monitor your health carefully and check you are well enough to attend for treatment with us. If you start noticing any symptoms we may not be able to treat you, and prefer you feel completely well before attending clinic. If the situation changes after signing this declaration please contact us prior to your appointment.
Please use wash your hands (or use sanitiser) on arrival and departure. We thank you for your co-operation.
ULTIMATELY, WE ARE DOING ALL THAT WE REASONABLY CAN TO MINIMISE RISK of INFECTION to those visiting our clinic. HOWEVER, WE CANNOT ELIMINATE ALL RISK, as MANY infections are not obvious at their onset.
If you arrive early for your appointment, please ring our bell once and kindly wait outside on the chairs provided until your osteopath lets you in, as only one patient at a time will be allowed in.
Telehealth

We wish to reassure you that we are still taking the taking the developments of the COVID-19 very seriously and will continue to monitor the information and advice released by the UK Government and the World Health Organisation concerning the spread and containment of COVID-19. We feel the weight of responsibility to limit the spread and containment of COVID-19.
Unfortunately, we are not able to see in clinic anyone who is unwell or is experiencing a cough, cold symptoms, or temperature. Please stay at home until you are well, we will reschedule your appointment for a later time.
